Kung Fu Panda was the unexpected winner last Friday night at the 36th annual Annie Awards. The animated feature length comedy took home the prize for best animation plus fourteen other awards including best direction and character design. Dustin Hoffman was named best voice actor for his vocal portrayal of Shifu, a surly martial arts guru in the winning movie.
